The RA4L1 microcontrollers leverage Renesas' proprietary low-power technology, consuming just 168µA/MHz in 80MHz mode. In standby mode, with all SRAM retained, the current drops to as low as 1.70µA. The product line also includes ultra-compact packaging options, such as a 3.64 x 4.28 mm wafer-level chip-scale package (WLCSP), making it ideal for space-constrained devices like portable printers, digital cameras, and smart tags.
The RA4L1 MCUs are now available along with the Flexible Software Package (FSP). Renesas also offers the RA4L1 Evaluation Board and the RA4L1 Capacitive Touch Evaluation System to support developers.
